Special Education Parent Advisory Group(SEPAG)

Our Special Education Parent Advisory Group, or SEPAG, is a parent/guardian-driven group that provides input to our school district about the challenges in special education and related services. SEPAG opens the door for parents/guardians to collaborate with the special education team, which can make a difference for everyone.  SEPAG is structured to benefit all students with disabilities, not just a single group of students, or a single issue. The more inclusive our SEPAG is, the more opportunities there are to achieve positive outcomes.

Our SEPAG meetings are held three times a year, with Susan Backal, School Social Worker, and Kristin Ternowyj, Supervisor of Special Services.  Other members of the Child Study Team may be in attendance as well.

The dates for the 2024-2025 Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) meetings will be posted in September.

As always, we look forward to working together and hope you are able to attend.
