Gibbsboro Home & School Association
Welcome to the 2018-2019 School Year!
What is The Gibbsboro HSA?
Our mission is to coordinate the efforts of parents, teachers, students and community members so as to enhance the education, character education and recreational needs of the students. Simply put, we raise money for the school and provide fun activities for the staff, students and families!
HSA meetings are held in the school media room on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm. Free babysitting is provided for all potty trained children and we try to cover everything within one hour. Consider this your personal invitation… we would love for you to come out and express your ideas and opinions to help make our children’s school experience the best it can be.
Throughout the year we hold many different fundraisers. We don’t expect every member to participate in every fundraiser, but hopefully we will have at least one that appeals to you. Please let us know if you can help out or have any new fundraising ideas.
The HSA has a Facebook Group and a Facebook Page. If you would like to join the closed Group simply go to FB at Gibbsboro School HSA and send us a request to join. You can follow our Facebook Page at Gibbsboro School Home and School Association. The HSA has a section on the Gibbsboro School website where we post important information. We also send out a monthly newsletter via e-mail called “HSA Happenings.” This year we are exploring additional forms of communication such as Remind.com and of course you can always contact us via email at HSA@Gibbsboroschool.org.
Why Join the HSA?
Academic Studies have PROVEN that kids do better in school when their parents are INVOLVED!
The money raised by the HSA goes back to the school.
You’ll have input as to how that money is spent!
It’s a great way to get to know school staff and other parents!
And hey, a night out is a night out!
We look forward to another successful year!
