• Beginning with the September 2011-2012 school year, our school district/school has conscientiously implemented the requirements found in the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act by providing training to all individuals associated with the school, promoting a positive school climate, and maintaining a comprehensive reporting process.


    During the first three years of implementation of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act, our school district/school has made progress in addressing and improving harassment, intimidation and bullying and the school climate and culture by sending the same consistent message, incidents of H.I.B. will not be tolerated in our district.


    While completing the Self-Assessment, we learned that our school district/school has demonstrated strengths in all areas of promoting a positive school climate.  The Self-Assessment has strengthened our commitment to maintaining support of our students and community in regards to continued promotion of a positive school climate and supporting the social and emotion needs of all students.


    The Self-Assessment helped our school district/school to identify areas for improvement in the following areas: training of all individuals associated with the school.


    Our school plans to further assess strengths and vulnerabilities for learning by conducting a school climate survey. We plan to conduct surveys twice a year to ensure we are meeting the needs of our students and community.


    During the upcoming year, our school district/school will be working towards and seek your involvement in improving our understanding of how to meet the social and emotional needs of all students.
