Troops to Teachers Program

The Federal Troops to Teachers (TTT) Program assists eligible military personnel with a transition into a second career in K-12 public school teaching.

 

A network of state TTT offices has been established to provide participants with counseling assistance regarding teacher certification and job placement.

 

Financial assistance may be provided to eligible personnel. Stipends up to $5,000.00 to assist with teacher certification costs and bonuses of $10,000 may be provided to those TTT participants who teach in a low-income school district.
