  • Parent-Teacher Conferences

    Dear Parents/Guardians: Gibbsboro School will conduct Parent-Teacher Conferences on: December 10 and 11 during the day from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm; and December 12 in the evening from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. All three conference days will be early dismissal days (12:45 pm) for students. Afternoon preschool will not meet on any early dismissal day. Report card grades will be available at your conference. A hard copy of your child’s report card will be sent home on December 13. Click for a printable conference form.

  • Veterans Day Celebration at Gibbsboro School

    On Monday, November 11th, Gibbsboro School had its annual Veterans Day assembly. The assembly was led by Mr. Marcellus and Mr. Prowisor. The students learned about the history of Veterans Day, the branches of the military and the importance of service. A big thank you goes out to local veterans, Steve Head, Jay Colavita, Walter Swierczynski, Steven DeLuca and Mr. Prowisor for sharing their experiences and their service to our country.

  • Additional School Drop off/ Pick Up Option

    Starting tomorrow, Monday September 30th, the additional option of turning down Lauer Lane will be available as a one way street turning off of Kirkwood Road. Cars can park on the right side of the road, pick up and/or drop off and then continue down Lauer to exit. Attached to this email is a photo provided by the Gibbsboro PD. All of the current options are still available. This option is just an additional way that you can choose to drop off and/or pick up your child. We hope this is helpful for parents moving down Kirkwood with the school on their left and would rather not enter the parking lot. Click for larger image of map.

  • Gibbsboro School's Little Free Library

    Introducing Gibbsboro School’s Little Free Library We are excited to introduce Gibbsboro School’s very own Little Free Library in memory of Mrs. Grimm. A Little Free Library is a perfect testament to Mrs. Grimm. It is meant to share the joy of reading and bring smiles to the people in the community, two things Mrs. Grimm was great at. Anyone is welcome to stop by, browse the bookshelf, and take a book. There are no fees or due dates. After you’re done reading or if you have some books at home that you are no longer reading, you can donate them to the library by simply adding them to the bookshelf. We want to say thank you to our wonderful HSA for filling our library with new books!

  • Kindergarten Earth Day Project

    To help celebrate earth day on April 22nd, KH and KS turned Trash into Treasure by using old items to repurpose into new items. All of the students came up with great new items with their recyclables. Some of the items included bird feeders, a piggy bank, a back pack rocket launcher, a checkers games, and terrariums. All of the items are currently on display in the kindergarten hallway for you to check out.

  • Kindergarten Roundup

    We are trying to locate children who will be five years of age on or before October 1, 2019. These children will be eligible to attend our September 2019 kindergarten. If you have a child who will be eligible for kindergarten in September, please complete the attached form and return it to the school as soon as possible. If your child is already attending our preschool, you do not need to fill out the form. Please tell friends and neighbors with eligible children to contact the school.   • Veteran's Day at Gibbsboro School

    On Monday, November 12th, Gibbsboro School celebrated veterans from five branches of our military. The group consisted of members that served in the past as well as members currently serving our country. The veterans spoke about their personal experiences and there was an extensive presentation from our own teacher, Mr. Prowisor. Thank you to all of our veterans that have protected our freedom at to Mr. Prowisor for putting together a special presentation.

    Students at Gibbsboro School participated in "Doodle 4 Google". The students submitted entries to a contest in which one of their drawings could be chosen to be used on the Google homepage. These are some of the entries.

    The National Junior Honor Society has inducted its new members for the 2017-2018 school year. Both new and current members participated in the ceremony. Congratulations to all of the members!
