  • Preschool Expansion

Dear Parents, Please see the attached flyer (Click the headline) which highlights the date, time, and location of a meeting all Gibbsboro residents are invited to attend. The purpose of the meeting is to inform residents of both Gibbsboro and Voorhees about the benefits of a shared service agreement to utilize a newly renovated building for our future preschool programs. Some of the benefits that will be discussed that are specific to Gibbsboro: - The Gibbsboro School District will easily reach 100% acceptance of all 3 and 4 year olds into a full day preschool program with this additional space. - Our program will share a before and after school program for preschool students that we currently do not provide. - Our preschool classrooms will all have their own bathrooms and currently they do not. - All renovations are being funded by the Voorhees School District - Our financial contribution to the shared space will be completely funded by our preschool expansion funding provided by the NJDOE. - Existing space in Gibbsboro will now be returned to our technology, Spanish, and library areas. - Our Multiple Disabled (MD) class will have a classroom with it's own bathroom. We hope you will be able to attend this information session if you have questions about this building or the shared service agreement. Sincerely, Jack Marcellus

  • Veteran's Day at Gibbsboro School

On Veteran's Day, Mr. Prowisor shared some experiences and a wealth of knowledge with his classes about Veteran's Day. The students learned about saluting and the branches of the military. The students were able to ask questions about Mr. Prowisor's experience in the military. It was a great experience. Thank you to Mr. Prowisor and all of our veterans for their service.
